Quartz with Hematite inclusions

Item Description

From what will surely become a classic modern era find (coming out from 2015 or so), this is a dramatic hematite included quartz crystal pair from Morocco, with brick-red color that is uniform and intense throughout: One large and one smaller quartz crystal dominate this piece with the largest 8.5 cm long and the other 4.2 cm in length. These two crystals have a core of colorless to slightly smoky quartz, as can be seen from the underside, that have a later generation of coarse, drusy, hematite included quartz deposited on the exterior resulting in a dramatic and shimmering quartz specimen.
