Quartz with Goethite and Turgite

This is a cool association specimen from this well-known specimen producing area in King County, Washington. This area is known for its beautiful Pyrite and Quartz specimens. This particular specimen has no Pyrite, but it is a wonderful display piece featuring sharp, well-formed, hexagonal crystals of Quartz with associated golden-black Goethite and iridescent "Turgiet" (Goethite with iridescent Hematite). For the size, quality and aesthetics, this piece is a good display that would fit nicely into any collection.
