Item Description
A beautiful group of very gemmy, colorless Quartz prisms, which are included with strong forest-green Clinochlore "phantoms" on additional Quartz matrix. The base of the specimen also has several Clinochlore included Quartz crystals as well. One of the large Quartz crystals is actually doubly-terminated. There is some minor chipping to the predominant Quartz crystals, but the overall GEM clarity, aesthetics and unique color combination make this a one-of-a-kind specimen, as I have not seen another quite like it from Pakistan. The piece can be displayed from several angles, and truly looks better in person as it was terribly difficult to accurately photograph. A very interesting and eye-catching small cabinet display specimen of this relatively obscure material. According to Brian Kosnar, the piece was collected in 1998, and he said it was the only one like it that he had seen as well.
