Item Description

A rarely seen Quartz specimen from Ash Canyon in southeastern Arizona. The piece comes from the Harold Urish collection, and the label on the bottom of the box states that it was self-collected, otherwise, which is the only reason I know that the locality info is legit. A handful of sharp, semi-lustrous, gemmy, slightly smoky Quartz prisms are intergrown to create an attractive full-sized miniature piece. The tips of the Quartz crystals have a light coating / inclusion of what we're calling very pale green "Chlorite" (species unknown). If you collect Arizona minerals, especially from more obsucre localities, don't miss out on this one, as it's obviously very difficult to find in today's market. Enjoy!
