Quartz with "Chlorite" phantoms (ex Harold Urish Collection)

Item Description

A rarely seen Quartz specimen from Miller Canyon in southeastern Arizona. The piece comes from the Harold Urish collection, and the label on the bottom of the box states that it was from Will Chartier, which is the only reason I know that the locality info is legit. A handful of sharp, lustrous, gemmy, slightly smoky Quartz prisms are intergrown to create an attractive large miniature / small cabinet piece. The center of the Quartz crystals have phantoms of green "Chlorite" (exact species unknown). If you collect Arizona minerals, especially from more obsucre localities, don't miss out on this one, as it's obviously very difficult to find in today's market. Enjoy!
