Item Description

The Swiss really take a great deal of pride in their quartz, and with good reason! This is a fine, stout, glassy, translucent, quartz crystal with a steep termination. The preferential, rich dusting of sparkly microcrystalline chlorite (mostly on the termination faces!) is dramatic, when you rotate the complete all-around specimen. This excellent crystal is from a more obscure Swiss locality, with few specimens being produced. Pristine. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. A classic specimen of this varietal from the well known suite amassed by Belsky as a dealer and collector before his untimely passing in 1987.
