Item Description

The Swiss really take a great deal of pride in their quartz, and with good reason! This is a very fine, doubly terminated quartz crystal with a striking, flattened shape. The preferential, very rich coating and dusting of sparkly microcrystalline is dramatic, when you rotate the complete all-around specimen. This very fine crystal is from a more obscure Swiss locality, with few specimens being produced. Very nearly pristine, with only trivial contacting. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. A classic and excellent specimen of this varietal from the well known suite amassed by Belsky as a dealer and collector before his untimely passing in 1987. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
