Item Description
Surreal large quartz from an obscure Minas Gerais locale - Paulista, Presidente Kubitschek. Stunning, gemmy and lustrous quartz crystals with crazy glass luster have a variety of exotic and layered clay mineral inclusions that give a surreal look to the inside AND, the back prism faces of the upper quartz crystals are included with green Chlorite, as a bonus. This area of Minas Gerais is known for producing striking quartz specimens with inclusions and this is an outstanding example. An exceptional and RARE style quartz from the 'inclusions within quartz' collection of longtime dealer and collector, Ken Roberts, which we bought some time ago. A very COOL specimen that is simply more and more mesmerizing, the more detail you see. He had valued this at $1500, some years ago. It is one of the few of this size and quality.
