Quartz with "Chlorite" / Actinolite inclusions

The Green Monster Mountain locality in Alaska is known for producing some superb Epidote specimens, along with a few associated minerals, including Quartz. This piece features a doubly-terminated sharp, well-formed, prismatic, Quartz crystal along with smaller Quartz crystals that have a distinctive bluish-green color which is caused by inclusions of "Chlorite" or Actinolite. When backlit, the Quartz does pass light, and the color is very eye-catching. A VERY cool U.S. Quartz specimen from this classic locality.
