Item Description
This is an attractive association specimen from Concepción del Oro featuring "stubby", off-white colored, hexagonal Quartz crystals measuring up to 8 mm, intermixed with brassy golden colored (sometimes more of a darker muted color due to oxidation) Chalcopyrite on matrix. You can see some "peacock" iridescence in spots where the Chalcopyrite has also oxidized, but didn't turn the darker grey hue. A cool piece for any fan of Mexican minerals or Quartz / sulfide specimens. The piece comes with an old Betts label stating it was from the Sahno Collection.
