Item Description
A rarely seen example of Quartz transitioning into Chalcedony from Zhob. The piece features several sharp, prismatic crystals of GEM quality, colorless Quartz, but some of the actual start to transition into slightly milky white Chalcedony at the top portion of the crystals. Some of the Quartz crystals are completely transparent, while others show the gradual change into Chalcedony. The largest crystal measures 2.0 cm long. Some of the crystals have slight "scepter" habit terminations. The matrix features small compressed rhombic crystals of golden Calcite surrounding the bases of the Quartz crystals. Rare and unusual material, so pick it up if you collect worldwide Quartz or minerals of Pakistan. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
