Item Description
A classic and showy, large combination specimen from the well-known mines at Traversella, Italy. Glassy, quartz crystal clusters are attractively scattered and nicely accented with calcite rhomb clusters and what appears to be tiny dolomite rhombs. The hefty sulfide matrix is either galena or magnetite. Weighs 567 grams or just over a pound. Highly representative combination material from this noted locality. Ex Sal Avella Collection.
