Item Description

A rarely seen multi-crystal matrix specimen from the Kharan District in Pakistan. This cabinet sized piece features a predominant, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, colorless, hexagonal prismatic crystal of Quartz measuring 4.3 cm, sitting prominently among dozens of smaller Quartz crystals of equal quality which play host to many thin bladed crystals of dark reddish-black Brookite. Some of the Brookites are a bit gemmy when backlit. I can see a few bladed white Albite crystals on the piece for a nice touch. Overall the specimen is in very good shape, but what really stands out is the wonderful aesthetics and the fact that it's on matrix.
