Item Description

Here we have an attractive Quartz specimen from the famous Yaogangxian Mine in China. This small cabinet sized crystal is a sharp, well-formed, translucent, colorless (slightly smoky colored) hexagonal prism featuring silvery-black colored "needles" of Bismuthinite frozen inside. The piece is in great shape, with no major damage, outside of the base where the piece was detached from the pocket wall. This piece was mined in the early 2000s, and these pieces are certainly now considered classics, so if you collect Chinese minerals or worldwide Quartz don't miss out on this attractive piece.
