Item Description
Quartz is easily the most "inclusion friendly" mineral out there. This sharp, prismatic hexagonal crystal features strange inclusions of what I'm told is an Amphibole species. The crystal is about 80% included bu there is a section near the termination where it is quite gemmy. The inclusion zones show really interesting swirling patterns of soft and warm reddish brown to cream colored hues, with stark acicular golden colored prismatic crystal inclusions. Nobody knows for certain which mineral or minerals are present inside the Quartz, but they certainly make for a unique and desirable appearance in what would otherwise be an ordinary Quartz crystal. If you collect inclusion minerals, or interesting Quartz specimens, pick this one up, it's one of only a few we have to offer. Priced at $950.
