Item Description
Brandberg in Namibia is famous for the complex interactions and colorations of its quartz, and this robust crystal shows why! It has zones of quartz, amethyst, and smoky all within the same crystal, and yet there is subtle order and even a phantom within. The more you look, the more subtle layers and shapes you see within, as with many of these. This has not the sometimes-strong purple color, but because of that, you can see the subtleties within, as the quartz changed chemistry during its growth. As with many of these, there are minute ancient bubbles trapped within. Just a really nice Brandberg!
