Quartz with Albite

Item Description

Snow-white Albite crystals that serve as matrix can be seen right through this completely limpid, doubly terminated Quartz crystal from Brazil. This sharp, glassy Quartz crystal measures nearly three and half inches in length with razor sharp faces and edges, a perfect termination at one end and the other termination is slightly compromised. It shows the irregular-shaped Albite crystals right through it along with a few short, hair-like crystals of Tourmaline that are also present in the Albite on the backside of the piece. There is one, mirror-like internal fracture within the Quartz that looks like thin sheet of aluminum foil for added interest. This is a very nice pegmatite Quartz crystal from Brazil!
