Quartz with Actinolite inclusions

Item Description

Four mostly transparent Quartz crystals are made translucent by a plethora of hair-like Actinolite inclusions! The super glassy crystals range in size from 2.5 to 9 cm in length and completely enclose hundreds of silvery green Actinolite filaments. It resembles algae in a flowing stream. The Quartz crystals have sharp faces and edges with the smaller crystals having more transparent tips where the individual Actinolite hairs are more apparent. There is what almost looks like a "negative crystal" in the middle of the primary Quartz prism face that is completely frosted in that depression, which is very interesting crystallographically. Contacted at the bottom, otherwise nearly pristine.
