Quartz w/ Riebeckite inclusions (rare combo)

Item Description

Riebeckite is an uncommon member of the Amphibole Supergroup and is EXTREMELY RARE from the two localities in MInas Gerais MINDAT cites for the species. It is unheard of to be found included in quartz crystals. Very glassy, translucent, stepped-growth quartz crystals are richly included with black riebeckite turning the crystals gray to black. The bit of periphery wear is certainly not a detraction to this piece. This is a very rare, rich and striking, 3-dimensional cluster of riebeckite-included quartz crystals from an unknown Minas Gerais locale. Value??
