Item Description

The lustrous, metallic molybdenite flecks are richly, dramatically and preferentially included at the sloping base of the striking water-clear quartz crystal section with a sharp termination. The prism faces are lightly frosted, as this piece has not been polished. Ex Dick Hauck Collection. Dick bought these from collector Terry Szenics, who found them in Chile in about 2004. The display face is in good shape. The gently bruised termination and broken tip of the side car are noted, but have minimal impact on this excellent example. RARE combination material from this very obscure locale. Seldom on the market.
