Item Description

Sprays of lustrous, black needles of an unknown mineral (actinolite?) are richly included in this glassy, water-clear terminated quartz crystal from an unknown Minas Gerais locale. The needles reach about 1.5 cm. The spray of smaller crystals at the base is nice accent. Complete all-around, part of termination is bruised, but is certainly only modest detraction to this very showy and most unusual quartz crystal from the Wes Parker Collection.
