Item Description

A striking and rare quartz plate from this historic deep Cornwall tin mine, opened in the late 1700s and finally closed in 1990 (MINDAT). Sharply terminated quartz crystals have dramatic multi-hued hematite-tinted phantoms, which are overgrown with glassy colorless quartz. An impressive and rare 360-degree specimen from this famous locale.
