Quartz w/ Hematite inclusions

Item Description

A dramatic, colorful and sculptural opposing cluster of sharply terminated, translucent quartz points richly infused with brick-red hematite with flashy secondary quartz overgrowths. This artistic piece is from an obscure Moroccan locale, well-known for such excellent hematite-included quartz crystals. The impressive large quartz is 8.5 cm and the opposing stout crystal is 5.5 cm long. A fine example from the locale, with longer, more isolated crystals, than you normally see from here. Many specimens you see from here have more densely intergrown, stubby, included quartz points.
