Item Description
Sculptural and colorful 360-degree mounded beta quartz crystals from this well-known Sichuan locale. This would be from the older finds of the early 2000s era. The glassy, lustrous, transparent to translucent crystals are preferentially included and coated with brick-red Hematite and included with white to yellow Dolomite. One side of the impressive column is accented with small olive-green Epidote crystals, to 5 mm, a common accessory. This small quarry is worked by local farmers. Ex Tim Sherburn Collection. A very fine and dramatic quartz combination from the locale.
