Item Description

A dramatic specimen from a NEW find in Mongolia. Three, stunning, needle-like, tapered quartz crystals are aesthetically set on matrix of glassy, brown andradite garnet crystal fragments. The lustrous, translucent, pseudohexagonal crystals are richly included with olive-green hedenbergite. The terminations of the two large crystals are gently bruised and the smaller, third crystal has a broken sidecar. This striking piece is easily the match for Serifos, Greece or Dalnegorsk, Russia specimens. Stunning.
