Quartz w/ gas bubbles (Urish Coll.)

Item Description

Harold Urish assembled a fine mineral collection over 40 years of collecting and this is a very aesthetic, older Las Vigas piece from his collection. A dramatic rabbit ears of two, slender, tapered, water-clear quartz crystals is beautifully complimented by small crystals at the base. Both crystals have immovable gas bubbles, which really enhance the pazzazz of this fine specimen. Very nearly pristine. The larger crystal has a deep skeletal feature on a termination face with contacting, but no damage, per se. The smaller crystal has a barely noticeable termination bruise. A couple of secondary crystals are broken at the base, but have no impact to the striking fine quality of this older piece, # 73 from his collection.
