Item Description

Gemmy, water-clear to translucent quartz points line the floor and roof of this impressive and sculptural large vug from an uncommon Pennsylvania locale, which is a coal mine. The largest crystal is 3.0 cm and is doubly terminated. The bottom of the piece is coated with smaller crystals and the top of the piece has tiny quartz crystals coated with dickite. An excellent, uncommon and large combination example from this locale. It looks like the wide mouth of an animal or monster with very jagged teeth!
