A RARE and significant large Swiss quartz from: "One of the many galleries in the NEAT (Nationale Eisenbahn-Alpen-Transversale) project. It is an access gallery to the main gallery in (railway) construction." (mindat) The impressive large sharply terminated pristine quartz crystal is very glassy and water-clear. The striking offset termination is preferentially lightly dusted with green chlorite and the crystal rests against a cluster of milky quartz crystals.
