Quartz w/ chlorite inclusions (Trimingham Coll)

Item Description

An impresssive large quartz plate from an unknown Diamantina area locality. Many of the glassy, water-clear points, to about 5.5 cm, have nifty phantom inclusions of green chlorite. The sculptural jackstraw crystals and color variations add much pizzazz to this showy and exellent two-sided piece. The interior is nearly pristine, with just few gently bruised crystals and the noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction. This is a RARE and desirable style of quartz from this noted locale from the Bob Trimingham Collection.
