RARE and sculptural smoky quartz from this less well-known Minas Gerais locale. Fine smoky quartz, quartz and other species are known from here, but chlorite-included smoky quartz crystals are RARE. This aesthetic piece is highlighted by the 5.8 cm doubly terminated, partially water-clear, gem smoky. Most of the crystals have some sparkly, sugary light pastel-green chlorite inclusions, with a few being totally limpid. An outstanding and rare included smoky quartz from this obscure locality from the Ken Roberts Collection. Valued by Ken at $300 and worth for rarity and quality.
