Item Description
Brilliant brass-yellow tiny pyritohedrons are dramatically, richly and preferentially deposited on one side of the large and showy mounded two-generation quartz plate from this obscure Zacatecas mine. The clusters of large quartz points add dramatic relief and contrast to the sparkly pyrites on the piece. BOTH pyrite and quartz are RARE from the Bote Mine, according to MINDAT, so this is an exceptional large combination rarity. There's even more pyrite on the bottom, as a bonus.
