Item Description

A classic combo piece from what is the most famous Garnet (at least Spessartine) locality in China. This piece features Smoky Quartz primarily, hosts several GEM quality, sharp, well-formed prisms aesthetically flaring in multiple directions on a matrix of cream colored Microcline, with a several associated, very sharp, rather lustrous, deep red trapezohedral crystals of Spessartine. The piece was trimmed into a circular shape which allows it to be displayed from several angles. The largest Quartz measures 6.2 cm long, and the largest Spessartine measures 7 mm across. No major damage and quite showy! This is older material dating back to circa 2005. Valued $1,800.
