Item Description
A showy and fine quality display specimen from the Swiss Alps, home to some of the finest and most celebrated Quartz crystals in the world. This small cabinet specimen features sharp, very lustrous, well-formed "Morion" Smoky Quartz crystals measuring up to 5.1 cm sitting atop cream colored Feldspar matrix. The main crystal is undamaged, and show a pair of large rhombic faces with a slight frosted luster. With strong backlighting, the crystals are VERY GEMMY, and the main crystal shows a deep amber hue internally. Great quality, very showy and highly desirable for the classic Swiss locale. Valued $1,500.
