Quartz var: Smoky and Amethyst (near ''floater'' specimen)

The Quartz deposits in the Goboboseb Mountains of Namibia have been producing some of the most distinctive and beautiful examples of the species for a couple decades. No two piece are quite alike, and there are all kinds of variations in terms of color and morphology that make these pieces so interesting. This specimen is honestly unlike any other I've seen as it features a trio of very sharp, well-formed, lustrous, translucent to gemmy Quartz crystals that have their own marked difference. One crystal on one end has a notably purple Amethyst color zoning, and the crystal on the other end has a slight smoky hue, while the bigger crystal in the center shows slight a combination of both smoky and amethystine hues. I would also like to point out that all three of the crystals are doubly-terminated, which is quite rare in my experience with Goboboseb Quartz, and the piece is very close to being a complete "floater", as it's essentially undamaged, with only a TINY point of attachment on the end with the Amethyst crystal. This is a really special piece for my taste, unlike most anything I've seen and it's a must-have for any fan of Quartz or minerals from the Erongo Region of Namibia. It's one of those pieces that certainly looks better in your hand in person, and we've done our best to illustrate the quality in the video, but take my word for it, this one is really cool.
