Item Description
This cluster of Swiss Quartz from the Giuv Valley consists of five prominent, water-clear Smoky Quartz crystal along with several smaller ones on a matrix of coarse, drusy Smoky Quartz crystals. The stout, medium hued Smokies vary in size from 4 to 6.5 cm in length and 1.5 to 2.d cm in width. Ther crystals are super glassy, sharply formed and completely transparent, save an internal inclusion here and there. The tips are complete on all of the crystals are complete and it is of course contacted at the bottom where it was removed from the Alpine cleft and then a minimal amount of contacting around the periphery with one of the larger crystals on the backside showing an indentation from a previously intergrown Quartz crystal and is out of sight.
