A HUGE and super glassy smoky quartz point, that is really different from smoky quartz we might see from Brazil or other locations. We do not see a lot of smoky quartz from Afghanistan that stands on its own merit, but this does. It is remarkably glassy and pretty! Hefty, big, sparkly, and unusually balanced in the height/width ratio, it just sits well in the hand. It is complete all around save a small contact in what I regard as the backside. Video simply cannot convey the gemlike clarity here, an internal brightness inside that simply does not convey to the lens the way it does to the human eye. It is a seemingly humble point, but actually quite special. Valued $5000-10,000.
