Classic, water-clear, gem smoky quartz crystal from the famous Furka pass area of Switzerland. The extremely glassy and lustrous hexagonal prism has fine light smoky color and an interesting, sharp, offset, complex termination. Stepped-growth on the prism faces adds much character. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. A very trivial termination edge bruise and a termination face contact with embedded chlorite, where another crystal once lay, has no damage, per se. 43 grams mass. Ex Brooks Britt Collection.
