Some of the finest crystallized Rose Quartz in the world is found in Brazil. This is a fine little specimen featuring a gemmy, sharp and lustrous, pale pink and slightly smoky color hexagonal crystal with a pale pink side car crystals forming a beautiful overall miniature. I love the balance and form as the main crystal gives way to the smaller ones like a flower opening its petals. Good quality all around. Minor Microcline can be seen on the back. Typically even small Rose Quartz crystals have a bit of a "milky" quality to them, but the crystals on this specimen are very gemmy. This specimen is many years old, and came out at a time when some of the best Rose Quartz crystals were finding their way out of Brazil.
