Item Description
Crystalline Rose Quartz was not even discovered until the mid-1900's, so naturally good Rose Quartz specimens have been very uncommon, and remain that way to this day. This large plate is likely from the finds in the 1970s-1980s, and it consists of tightly packed Rose Quartz crystals. All have a rich pink color, with the upright crystals being lustrous and gemmy, and the flat-lying crystals frosted and larger. In fact, the largest flat-lying crystal is 2.1 cm long, which is a remarkable size for this variety. Rose Quartz is the most prized of the Quartzes, and this is a fine, aesthetic specimen!
