Rose Quartz is a pink variety of Quartz whose color is actually caused by micro fibrous inclusions of Dumortierite. Some of the best crystalized Rose Quartz specimens ever found are those from Brazil. This miniatures is a lovely richly colored group featuring beautiful strong to light pink crystals of Rose Quartz from the famed Pitorra Claim in Brazil. When you backlight the piece, it truly glows with color, especially because there is no matrix, so the light passes all the way through.
