Item Description
Some of the finest examples of crystallized Rose Quartz are the famed specimens from the Pitorra Claim in Brazil. Rose Quartz is a beloved variety of Quartz, which gets its color due to micro Dumortierite inclusions. This particular specimen is a fine display piece with notably saturated pink color, and is filled with sharp, lustrous, gemmy, prismatic crystals on all sides. The crystals are sharp and gemmy, with good luster. A bit of attached white Feldspar can be seen on the back of the piece. It's complete on all sides with no major damage I can find. This one stands out for its rich coloring, quality & style, and would make a great addition to any Quartz suite, or a collection of either gem pegmatite minerals or Brazilian minerals.
