Brazil might be the most productive Quartz producing nation on Earth. The wide range of colors and styles seen for many decades is almost certainly unmatched by any other country. The famous crystallized Rose Quartz specimens from the Pitorra Claim in Brazil are among the finest examples of this pink Quartz variety ever found. This particular specimen is a nice display piece with good pink color (which is due to micro Dumortierite inclusions), and is filled with sharp, lustrous, gemmy, prismatic crystals. The crystals are sharp and gemmy, with good luster, and measure up to 1.0 cm long. A tiny bit of attached cream colored Feldspar can be seen on the back of the piece. It's complete on all sides with no major damage I can find. A nice piece to add any Quartz suite, or a collection of either gem pegmatite minerals or Brazilian minerals.
