Item Description
A large specimen of unsuual combination, featuring a really transparent quartz crystal attached to a triangular shaped mica blade. The muscovite is very sharp and lustrous, and the two large crystal habits contrast very nicely, making for a balanced large specimen. The quartz has a definite citrine color, a hint of yellow-orange to it. We do not photoshop the photos and they actually look like it is faintly smoky, here. But in person, its got the faint hint of yellow and orange to it. Although not quite pristine, as there is a little edge wear on the quartz, I can be forgiving given the size and overall aspect. The piece is not significant for either species, but something about the contrast is just so unusual, I think this is my favorite of the set here. Complete all around, except on the bottom.
