Item Description
Rich golden-amber color on this lustrous, transparent, gemmy small cabinet citrine crystals from 2010s finds in Zambia. The crystal has tabular form dramatically accented with the different offsetting termination faces. The crystal faces vary from glass-clear to satin lustre to frosted with stepped-growth. Complete all-around. One prism edge is lightly bruised and an upper contact on the back side has no damage, per se. Natural citrine quartz crystals of good quality are uncommon worldwide. This find from Zambia elevates the species and this is a showy and highly representative example.. From a find circa 2010
