Item Description
From a find around 5 years ago from what I'm told, this piece is a really attractive exposed geode section featuring attractive stalagtitic / radial growths of Quartz which are colored a unique and eye-catcing pinkish-orange hue from inclusions of Hematite. The surface (exterior) of the geode is a silicified Sandstone. The outer layer of the Quartz aggregates have a brilliant luster from what I determined to be a secondary coating of Quartz. Really beautiful up close. When you look at it under the microscope, it's like another world.
