Item Description
There are various localities in New Mexico (and Arizona) where these attractive and distinctive Chalcedony specimens have been found. They all typically have some kind of a pinkish or lavender hue, and most of them fluoresce a bright green color under SW UV light, which is the case for this piece. Beautiful, almost flowing/banded layers of attractive Chalcedony can be seen all over this attractive cabinet sized display specimen from the Pink Elephant Deposit in Luna County. Good quality overall, and very showy.
Ex Dave Stoudt collection.
