Item Description
Natural ametrine (amethyst and citrine hues combined in a single crystal) specimens are quite uncommon, worldwide. The best specimens come from this mine in Bolivia. This is a sculptural floater crystal with striking tapered and slightly curved form and has a rare, partial unetched face. The strange forms of these crystals result from natural etching in the pockets in which they form. They are absolutely clear through the interiors, with a silky surface. Some faces are water-clear. The photos highlight the beautiful colors. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $100, for free.
