Item Description
Fine quality Amethyst specimens are rare from this obscure claim in Utah. This beautiful display specimen is a showy small cabinet sized piece featuring a few attractive, sharp, lustrous, gemmy, light purple colored crystals of Amethyst showing distinct scepter habit growth, on minor matrix. The largest individual crystal measures about 5.7 cm. Some of the crystals show a bit of stepped growth, and there are even some narrow "reverse scepter" crystals flaring off the bottoms of the larger crystals . The piece is in amazingly good condition, and while the color is a light purple hue, it's darker than the few others I've seen from the locale. Very showy and impressive for what it is. A great specimen for any Quartz collector or a fan of minerals from Utah.
