Item Description

A beautiful multi-color Quartz-lined geode set from Las Choyas, Mexico featuring crystallized lilac Amethyst with beautifully banded blue Agate around the periphery. Both halves of the geode are polished showing a beautiful mixture of colors. This set comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936.
