Item Description
Brandberg is world-famous for its beautiful, colorful, and fine quality Quartz specimens. This impressive cabinet specimen is a gorgeous pocket of classic Brandberg Amethysts, crystal clear with deep purple phantoms, particularly in the largest, 4.7 cm Amethyst. The excellent, glassy luster serves to highlight the colors and crystal forms even more. Adding to this aesthetic, the Amethyst crystals rise from a matrix of Calcite crystals that fluoresce both white (highly unusual) and a faint, delicate red-orange. This is an out-of-the-ordinary specimen from a classic area with a nice display shape and presence.
